Hi, nice to meet you! I’m Wendy Cholbi.
As a technology-to-English translator and WordPress veteran, I help small business owners build and maintain their websites. I’ve been building, maintaining, and troubleshooting websites since 1994, and using WordPress to do it since 2008.
My clients are small businesses, often run by just one person: Artists, Etsy sellers, coaches, consultants, and freelancers of all kinds. If you’re one of these people, you know that you’re the CEO, CFO, and chief cook-and-bottle-washer for your business, and you don’t have the time or training to be your own IT department as well.
My mission and philosophy
As the owner of a one-person business, I understand the mingled hilarity and frustration that results from reading business guides that refer to “your customer service department”, “your IT department”, and “your marketing department”, and knowing that all those departments are … me.

I believe it is completely possible and doable for a person like you to be your own IT department. And I also know that sometimes it’s easier and more sanity-preserving to hire someone to keep all the website gizmos working smoothly.

If your WordPress website is causing you stress and frustration, I’m here to tell you that it doesn’t have to be that bad. I can handle all the under-the-hood tech updates for you, or train you how to do it yourself.
And if your small business doesn’t have a website yet, I can install a brand-new WordPress site for you. You can tinker with it yourself, or have me completely customize it for you; it’s completely up to you.
