NO! Comment moderation is *editing* and it is both the right and the duty of any publisher. An example: My kid sister, whom I love dearly, likes to comment on my art. She, unfortunately, is a victim of the badly deteriorated state of education, despite having a pretty good mind. So, her comments tend to be ungrammatical and badly spelt. I fix 'em up for her. For other commenters, I do likewise, if needed. The only comments I have had to delete are clear and obvious spam stuff, most of which is filtered by Akismet, but I would delete any comments that seem offensive to me, my art, or other commenters..

I don't have a 'comment policy' other than a simple understanding that what happens on my site is my choice and my responsibility.

Hi Karyn,

Here's what I see at that endpoint when I look at the HTML for your page:

Word Works
.

The id=Word attribute needs to go inside the h3 tag, along with the style attribute, like this:

Word Works
.

Try that and see if it works -- I'd love to know. It shouldn't throw off the centering. It's also possible that WordPress.com could be altering or limiting the code on your page (fingers crossed that that's not the case).

So glad to have found this post! Tried it out, but am challenged by the bolded text on the end points on this page > the end points are Word Works, Hybrid Works, and Image Works:

http://karyneisler.com/karyn-eisler_publications_author_artist_sociologist/

The first end point looks like this in html:

Word Works.

Where exactly would I put this:

id="Word"

?

I tried it in different places, but each time it throws the centering off ...

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)))

Thank-you!

Oh, you're welcome, Leslie!

I hadn't even thought about the fact that it's not a linear addition of three seconds per day. The idea of gaining three minutes per day is even more inspiring.

Thanks for adding your candle to mine!

Wendy, thank you so much for the link to TimeAndDate.com. I really needed to see right now how quickly the number of seconds of daylight increases with each passing day, until at spring solstice we're gaining three minutes a day for many, many days in a row. The days right now may have fewer than 9 hours of sunlight, but in June we'll have more than 15 hours. Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks a lot for this, i was always wondering how this was done, and was actually thinking it was not possible in Wordpress as this is not an integrated part of the link options.

I will for sure try this out, actually i found your post by Googling various word combinations to find exactly what you are describing here, i thought this feature was called "internal bookmarks" (as word uses the term bookmark for this), but Jump links is of course obvious when i read this post.
