I use AWeber, E-Junkie, and PayPal (yep, those are totally affiliate links). I know lots of tricks to get them to play nice together.
But it has recently come to my attention that people are generally freaked out by the idea of adding these services to their websites, let alone “integrating” them into some kind of, uh, seamless e-commerce thingamawhatzie.
I’m here to help. I recently held a free teleclass about how you know when you’re ready for a shopping cart, mailing list provider, and payment processor. That’s the first step to making these three services (or any two of them) to get along in the little online playgroup that is your business.
I had a great time discussing topics including:
- Why you need a PayPal account (if you’re selling something online, you do. Trust me on this.)
- Three signs that your business needs a shopping cart in addition to PayPal
- Several uses for mailing lists (not just for newsletters anymore!)
- The difference between “unsubscribing” and “reporting spam”
- …plus I answered some questions about AWeber, E-Junkie, and PayPal.
Just fill out this form to get the recording of the free teleclass.
